Yeah fitted mine a couple of weeks ago too. Got them from diane shop too. They are excellent.
Also got LED sidelights from Ultra LED to compliment them.

I must be the unluckiest person alive when it comes to buying of that bloody Diane-Shop

I bought 2 sets of 6k H7 hids off them and then Bi-xenon H4 ones about a week later, The first 2 sets for H7s went bang the very first day I bought them and 8 weeks later they still havnt sent me both my replacements, just the one.

I will never buy off them again

On a plus note the H4 ones have worked fine (so far) lol

Surrey darling...
One of mine failed last night - going to spend a bit extra and buy from someone else rather than mess about trying to get replacement parts etc... buy cheep buy twice IMO

possibly right mate - ballasts do look very similar no matter the make... however, I have lost count of the number of threads I've seen where people have had issues with the Diane shop items - at the same time I'm sure there are plenty of people that have them and haven't suffered from failure!

I'm just saying that I'll try a different brand this time round and see how I go - am also going to use 4500K lamps as the 6000K are slightly too blue for my liking ;)

they have terrible customer service when it comes to stuff like that, but they are very very cheap, i have had a few sets where the ballasts have been fecked, but i just buy another set as they are the cheapest on e bay

Do these kits just use crap burners or are they different to the ones that you would have if you had factory fitted xenon lights?

The reason I ask is that I know that the burners for BMW xenon lights will set you back around £90-100 each.

I did see these kits for sale on diana shop the other day after reading about HID conversions on here. Did find that theres a few uk companies selling the kits for not that much more.

Like here and here

I'm not decided yet.

I cant comment on dianeshop ones as I got mine, as did another forum member, from a different china ebay man. They were absolute garbage as was his aftersales service. I now have a kit from hids4u and they are quality. I hear what you say about them all being made in the same place but I think if this is so the ones coming from china have been robbed from the reject bin. The hids4u ballasts although almost exactly the same size, were at a guess a 1/3 heavier than the cheapo ones. What can you put this down to ? Better components, insulation etc ? All I know for sure is they work perfectly out of the box, no flickering, random switch offs etc and there is a 2 year warranty. As somebody else said and I have found - buy cheap, buy twice.

Or take a chance and buy once and find out that they do work fine. As have many

Not arguing with you mate just offering my opinion. I think the relevant word you used is "chance" borne out by there being at least 6 people in this thread alone that have had problems with the cheapo kits.
