Hey there. New to the site, was just wondering if there is any Aberdeen\Grampian Altea's in here ?

Track Grey Freetrack here !!
.
Seen a yellow freetrack owned by a driving school out toward Inverurie way... dont remember the name though...

Strange that it was a driving school though !!

Freetrack

Hi located in Alford and hopingto buy a used Freetrack soon Will keep you updated

No way !!

I'm out at Pitcaple.. I have a mate that lives in Alford on Stewart road !!!

Maybe see you around then!! if you wanna have a look at one or are interested, then let me know.. if i'm passing out his way and you wanna have a nosey then you would be welcome to have a look see.

Be nice to see a few more freetracks about... what with this snowy weather.. its been fantastic.... Just like a normal car in the summer that goes and handles well, good economy, good performance, great for the kids in the back with the lcd screen and ipod connected and when it snows.. perfect for getting through the snow drifts.

All the benefits of a 4x4 but doesnt really look like one and drives even better.

Ours is coming up for 28K miles... still going strong...would be interested to drive the petrol version though... especially as you could chip it to 250 BHP... but not sure if you would really need to !???? but is that the point? LOL....

should be onroad for this weekend

Cheers for reply Small world indeed
Hoping to pikc up car later this week ex Chester ( weather permitting ) lol
Will give you a shout once on the road and try and catch up at a "half way hoose"
PS
Any 2 wheel interest there ? Just wondered with the Twist N Go "forum name"?
Running a Piaggio MP3 at moment until i can get a real bike again :)

petrol sounds good but Alford-Dyce-Alford daily plus frequent Alford - Aberdeen - Alford round trips to keep the ankle biters happy means a diesel is way to go unless Gordon Brown gonna slash fuel costs for rural drivers...... so , no chanceof that then TDI 170 bhp it must be
ps
do you manage to live with the brown on the dash ? only bit we didnt like :)

ah yes.. ankle biters and commuting especially puts things in to perspective !!

You do get used to the dash to the point where its "not too bad" I guess the only thing is that the interior is a touch bland or dated now.. however.... for the price and for all round package I dont think it could be beaten, Dare say something like the pug 4007 is a maybe a better car? not driven one... certanly newer but then... a LOT more money.

Well... if your picking up from chester.... you wont have any problem coming back that's for sure... although getting there may be an issue !!

Ours is used as the obligatory family wagon and for ferrying the wife back and forward to work... she gets on average 35mpg but as you know... the run up the 96 is mainly roundabouts and harsh throttle abuse... wife is quite heavy footed and doesnt do "economy mode"... have seen 40+ taking it REAL steady.

On a run it will do 36-38mpg depending on cruising speed.... bang on 80 with the cruise on your looking at 36 to 39... which isnt bad as its a big car with a rattly engine !! good workshorse though and real comfy on a long run fully loaded..

A Piaggio mp3? thats the the 3 wheeler isnt it?... and "Proper bike again" suggests that you have not been behaving or been off the road a while?... But yeah.. bit of a give away huh?... Have a gsxr750 track bike and a ZZR1400 as you asked !!
