Adjusting Cam Timing Help

Havent had the car back long from a rebuild and i'm getting a camshaft position sensor error.

I've checked the timing marks/flywheel and the belt is on correctly.

Next check was the CPS itself, was fine.

So i took the cam cover off at TDC to see the front cam off by one tooth, rotated toward the back of the engine.

How do i change this up?

Any help would be great.

Right i done the cam timing so the marks line up. Runs so much better now.

But, i have a fault code, which i had after the belt was done prior to the rebuild of... 17748- Camshaft Position Sender (G40) / Engine Speed Sensor (G28) : Incor. Correlation.

From those pics everything looks to be timed up right, and i didnt touch the cambelt today. So any ideas? Stuffed sensor?

Car drives well, starts well, idles well etc...

Its worth a look, i did have a look and i'm sure it was on the mark. Which kind of makes sense as the flywheel is on the mark as well.

But i might be wrong.
