These are pretty cool. I've been thinking about getting one for quite some time so it's great to see another Mk2 owner who has actually fitted one. Most of the other reports I've read in the past are from Golf owners.
Can I please ask where you got it from and how much you paid?
And more to the point, does anyone know where the CAN gateway module (J533) is located on the Mk2 Facelift Leon?
I had a poke around above the pedals where the BCM module (J519) is located but I can see no sign of the CAN gateway module.
On the Golf Mk VI it is up above the pedals (see this video) but there is no sign of it in the same place on my car. Keep in mind that my car is right-hand drive and the video is a left-hand drive car. Maybe the CAN gateway is up under the passenger side footwell on a right-hand drive car (somewhere behind the glove compartment) but I haven't looked yet as it means stripping off some trim for that. Does anyone know?

Just a quick search I have found these which may help.
The instructions say to remove the drivers panel however that is for a LHD car, i suspect it is located on the passenger side as I cannot see Seat mirroring electronics when moving which side the wheel is on.
Thanks. I did aleady see those workshop manual diagrams previously but unfortunately it appears not to be in that easy to access location on RHD cars so those instructions must only apply to the LHD cars.
Anyway, the good news is that after some more poking around this morning I finally found the CAN bus gateway module (J533) in my car but the bad news is that it's in a absolute nightmare location to access. I need to go out now so I'll post up some pictures later, but if you pull off the trim cover that hides the OBD port (to the right of the steering wheel under the headlight switch panel) then shine a torch in there, you can just about see the J533 module with a red plug sticking out the top of it right at the back behind all the wires and relays.

As promised, below are pictures showing the location of the CAN Bus Gateway (J533) on a RHD Mk2 SEAT Leon. You can see the red CAN Bus plug sticking out the top of it.
After taking these photos I did manage to unclip the relay holder which sits in front of the CAN Bus Gateway module and move it to the side but even after doing that it is still really tight getting a hand in there. I already scratched my hand and wrist to blazes attempting to take the plug out of the top of the module, and trying to get the module itself out of its mounting, both of which I was unsuccessful in doing. Unfortunately access from up underneath the dashboard is completely blocked with a plastic bracket that cannot be removed without first dismantling half of the dashboard, which I won't be doing. I'll try again another day when I have a bit more spare time on my hands.
Apologies to the OP for hijacking their thread with some of this stuff but as they didn't come back and make any subsequent comments I figured no-one would really mind.

Thanks for that. I realised soon after I'd asked the question that you're not based in the UK anyway so you wouldn't be able to help with a UK supplier. There only appears to be one authorised supplier in the UK but the price with postage is a bit more expensive than if I was just to order it direct from Auto Polar in Spain. Plus, it looks like you only get the full 2 year warranty if you order direct from the Auto Polar online shop.

It most definitely is not going to be as easy as they make it look in that video. I can only imagine that the guy installing it in that video had already spent more than plenty of time prior to shooting the video removing the CAN Bus Gateway from it's mounting points and slicing all his hands and wrists up in the process. There is no way on earth that it can just be "fished out" in a few seconds as he does in that video, unless a previous owner had already been in there before him and just left the CAN Bus Gateway module dangling around behind the relays instead of refitting it back into its proper mounting points.
I envy you guys in the LHD cars. It is in such an easy location to get to
I wonder what the logic was in not just mirroring it to the same location on the other side in a LHD car.
Well I had another go at getting the CAN Bus Gateway module out of its mounting points and I succeeded after about 25 minutes of scratching more of my hands/arms to pieces on sharp bits of plastic. The piece of wiring loom with the red plug going into the CAN Bus Gateway module seems too short to allow the module itself to be pulled out through the hole in the front of the dash so I'm going to have to try and disconnect the plug with the module still inside the dashboard which is going to be fun. Due to needing to disconnect the battery etc. first, I won't try doing that until I actually need to.
