Dear All,
I fitted a dashcam yesterday and removed the panel where you turn the passenger bag on/off. Like a numpty I didn't take off the battery terminal and now when I start the car I get an error icon stay on in the dash.

I've read that I need to get VCDS software or a cable to plug into the ODB port to clear. Is it worth just going to my local CUPRA dealership of which there's 2 near Luton, Bedfordshire or does anyone have any other ideas/knowledge that they can share.

Many thanks,
Owen

Maybe able to clear it with an OBD11, maybe someone on here lives near to you and can help, unfortunately I'm in SW London, unless you happen to be nearby.

Carista OBD 11 should do the job, available on Amazon

I did the same ?

It can be cleared with the right tool.

My mate cleared it with a borrowed full spec VAG clone code reader.

I don't know what flavour it was but the good news is that the fault can be cleared. ?

I did the same, if you're local to the West Midlands you're welcome to use my OBDeleven. I had to buy it specifically for the same reason.

Thanks for the help guys mate from work brought in his Carista OBD 11 reader and Ive managed to clear it as my cheap one wouldn't see the error
(cost me £9.99 for a month of pro version of app but that's not much for being a dumb ass)
