Alarm problem

Having a problem with my alarm recently. I lock the car with a single press of the fob, take two steps away and the alarm goes off.

I can deactivate/silence it with the open button, then press lock again and walk away, no problems. It's happened 3 times now, has anyone else had anything similar?

Used to happen on one of my demo cars

something to do with a rotary switch i think


get it booked in at your seat dealer and they should be able to sort it for you

yep, mine has got a similar problem. although it goes off randomly, not just when im walking away, usually when im in bed.

its been to the dealers who have told me that the problem is the door controller, the part is on 2 week back order (which im not pleased about but theres not much i can do about it).
