Hi,

Thinking of getting new car (Sport or FR) just wondering what you have in stock and whether you have either that I could test drive.

I'm up in Aberdeen but would come down if you did as the dealer up here onlyh has S models and not interested in testing these when they wouldn't compare?

Also are you willing to haggle on the RP of the FR as I seen it online cheaper than the £19850 that on Seat site?

We have FR petrol and diesels available for test drive, plus used models of both for sale. Always willing to haggle, but ALWAYS face to face. Contact Steve in our sales department if your interested.

Freetrack4 Alloy Wheels

Hello,

1) Looking for an alloy for a Freetrack 4 to replace one as one of them has a flat spot. What is your cheapest price?

2) Do you have any other alloys that will fit in stock and if so how much will it cost to send?

Cheers

Kinjamin

Hi, does the Ayr branch of Alistair Fleming do Seat servicing as well? I know they are a Citroen dealer. If so what is the cost for a 3rd year service on a 09 Ibiza 1.4 Sport Coupe? It doesn't need it til Jan but just planning ahead! Cheers

Alistair Fleming Seat Service

I know the forum guide says this shouldn't be used for 'witch hunts' but i'm really struggling to find anything constructive to say about the customer service at this dealer.

I have a Seat Leon FR 150 and it was due its 60000 mile service. I decided to take it to this seat garage as I assumed they would know what they were doing with the car in comparison to just taking it to a random garage. They quoted me £270 for the service which seemed a lot but decided it would hopefully be worth it. How wrong I was!

I was due to pick up the car on Tuesday (2 days ago). However, I got a phone call on Tuesday afternoon to say the mechanic had somehow pulled out the oil sump and this had caused the thread on it to shrew. They blamed the previous service for tightening the sump too tight so they couldn't get it out (I am however a little suspicious over this as I have only ever used a seat garage for services.) They said it would cost me £250 for a new sump and also £5 if I wanted it delivered for the next day. After much deliberation with the manager I agreed to this as I couldn't start the car with a broken sump so saw no other option.

I then received a phone call on Wednesday afternoon (I thought this would be to say the car was ready.) They had managed to order in the wrong sump plug. How a seat garage orders the wrong seat part made me very [:@]. I spoke to the manager the again and unfortunately no discount available for their mistake but they would give me a courtesy car which I would have to go and pick up.

I wake up today (Thursday) to a phone call which I again assume is to let me know the car is ready. But oh no, they have managed to order the wrong part AGAIN [:@]. They have now told me the quickest thing to do is wait until tomorrow for the part to be delivered again. So thats 4 days without my car all because this garage cant order the correct sump. They have offered no discount despite me trying several times.

I am not the kind of person to complain but this garage have made my blood boil! Terrible customer service and terrible knowledge of this car! Fingers crossed I will get my car back tomorrow night but who knows.

Has anyone had any similar experiences or does anyone have any advice which I could use to try and get some sort of a discount for this dealers catalogue of errors?
