All dash lights come on then go off

Need help hi i have a cupra r 310 driving today in heavy traffic then noticed all the dash light came on then went off leaving the power steering light on for a bit then it will go off again does anyone have any ideas ive checked the battery its fine and charging well 13.7v this seem to be an intermittent fault but very annoying
Could it be a faulty regulator on the alternator

Any help would be appreciated thanks

It’ll be voltage related. Buy a used alternator and fit it and retest it for awhile see if it still does it.
Have you checked your fuse box for anything out of the normal? And check the battery terminals for heavy corrosion and possible loose power clamp.
This is what I’d check first if it was me. Also measure the voltage at the battery when the cars off and then again when it’s on 13.7 While running is fine but mines over 14v while at ideal. It’s just good to check to give you a clue on the alternator condition.

14.4V is what your looking for when running.

Either alternator or dying battery is your problem

So I had this on mine and it was the ABS sensors at the rear. Dash lights would come on and then go off at first... then after a while they just came on and stayed on. New ABS sensors resolved the issue.

Thanks for the replies lads it's a dying battery it's only reading 12.2v
