Getting wheels done next week.

Very confused at the moment with the above colours. I have original alloys.

Any pics of cars will be appreciated, hopefully makes decision making easier!!

Also I will be getting light smoke tints to match the dark colour alloys.

Thanks Guys

Go for the Gun Metal mate, will look very nice. I have black on mine at the mo but seriouslt thinking of the Gun metal look.

Thats the direction I am swaying towards. Hopefully some of the boys post up some pics of both shades for a comparison.

Birmingham got loads of LCRs with black wheels lol as you seen already.

I'll be looking forward to the pics once there done as i'm in the exact same situation lol. I was thinkin gun metal tho as gloss black hides the details of the alloy.

Yes i can see where you coming from ECK.

When I get them done ill post a pic unless we get some pics up on here. I think a gloss gun metal grey is the way forward.

Mine are titanium, apparently, but near as dammit the same thing:

They look gun metal grey to me lol..Nice!!

Cheers - don't think there's much between the two colours, may even just be different names.

Any proper side on pics???

This is the closest I can find:

Note that the tyres aren't looking very clean or black there. If you're going for a dark wheel colour you need to keep your tyres clean and use tyre shine/dressing on them regularly. If they fade and don't look nice and deep black then they look a bit naff on your wheels. That's why I didn't go for black wheels, that effect is much worse with black wheels.

Much better picture!!!

I liked the other one better but that's cos the car was clean then :) The last one probably does give a better impression of the wheel colour tho right enough.
