Hi - Hopefully a quick one as I've read a few posts on this but just want a confirmation on the answers.

Going to put in my new alpine HU and parrot handsfree, all of which have ISO loom connections already . I take it I don't actually need PC2-69-4 wiring harness adaptor/extension at all.

I appreciate I may need to swap over switched and permenant live but I can do that easily.

Am I right in the above ? Are there any issues relating to the speed/volume sensor or K- wire ( whatever that is)

If so anyone want a PC2-69-4 ?

No, you don't need the wiring extension if your HU comes supplied with a flylead, as you say just make sure the red and yellow lines are swapped.

The speed sensor shouldn't cause you any trouble AFIAK, info on teh K line here - http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/aftermarket-radio.html
