Altea Facia Help

Hi ther im wanting to remove and fit my pioneer headunit to my altea , i succesfully removed the old head unit and after havin to buy a new loom to gender bend and airel to make more standarderised! i ordered a facia (the style where its 2 tier where you can have the headunit at top and a storage section below?

When i went to fit it i found it to be for LHD and not RHD??

i have searched around and i can find RHD versions BUT not 2 teir just one big open space with 1 cage ? but can fid the 2 teir for LHD??

Require it in gunmetal grey?

any sites or help please?

from that link image you pasted i have 12 and 13 but in LHD i need 12 and 13 in RHD gunmetal grey???

Contact your local car audio shop and they will get you lhd facia in whatever colour you need. It is easier, got one for my toledo and perfect match in colour.

spoke to david today what a spot on bloke very helpful and knew what he was on about, is sendin me a correct one for cheaper. well chuffed .

David is a very helpful guy and works for Seremotors, who, as he stated before got voted Best Seat Dealer in the UK this year. We all just wish all seat Dealers were so helpful!

facia fitted today from david, fitted a treat had to bond the headunit cage as was a tiny bit to small but ots all good will try post a pic when i get the time and can rember how to do so lol

Don't want to hijack the thread but did you get the first facia from caraudiosecurity, as I just bought a load of stuff to fit a pioneer double din in my altea fr and they sent me the LHD facia instead of RHD and the <05 wiring adaptor instead of the >05 wiring.

I managed to get the RHD facia off david@seremotors(Top Man) and it was an exact match to the plastics unlke the crap I had ordered which was a different shade of black. I kept the cage that came with the other facia kit and am waiting for the correct cable to be delivered but what a crap service getting 2 items out of 3 wrong.

I'll always check here first from now on as that's how I found out what I acctually needed and not what I was told by supposed caraudio expert stores that know nothing.

the lhd one was from someone on ebay and yes the plastic was much better from dave , its all in and looks great pics to come
