Altea stereo removal

So, I get my stereo removal keys from eBay, slide them in the four little slots around the stereo, and... nothing. I know it's a fiddly job, but how is the stereo meant to come out when there's nothing to pull on?
The reason why I need it out is that I have a Sony CDX-T69 changer that would like to install. It comes with a power cable (looks like the M from the Animal logo), a red jack , and a white jack. Will these cables plug straight into the back of the stereo or will I have to get an adaptor for them?

Stereo Out

Sorry to tell you its an absolute pig . When I did mine it was the same and just seemed it wouldn't move > My main concern was doing any damage to my dash board . You will probably find when you have the keys in that it will seem to be lose at the top . What I did VERY CAREFULLY was to prise it out at the bottom with a flat blade screw driver . I got it out without damaging the dash , but be warned you need to be really careful , just be patient . Hope this helps . All the best Barry .

the keys slide and and release a thin spring plate inside the case. First time you have to make sure the keys have slid down the right bit - they usually end up slight bent/curved then you need to carefully get your fingernails around the fascia edge and tease it out.
For some reason it pops out easier the next time!
Its one of those things thats obvious - once you have the damn thing removed!!
