Another leak Queastion

Hi ive saw a couple threads about leaking doors and seals but im not sure if my problem is the same?? The carpet in the footwell under the driver seat alway seem to be wet. at the moment its soaking! The tricky thing is that i cant see how its getting there as the carpet up the side of ther footwell to the door is never wet?? also after its been raining water sits in between the door and sill but i cant see how its related because as i said the carpet seems to be dry up the sides of the footwell. Has any1 came accross this?? id be gratefull for any help
 
the side bits never feel wet as theres soundproofing too and the waters running under it. You can check the scuttle panel is clear and draining, water can build up and find a way in.
Its more than likely door seals.
 
i dont want to sound stupid but where the scuttle panel. im not to clued up when it comes to fixing car?
 
ah ok i was thinking it was closer to the back lol il have a look oof that and think il try sealing in side the door. if that fails new rubber door seals it is
 
As Lee says its the channel under the wipers, pour water in there and it should drain through holes around the wheels. If it runs away fine, otherwise its door time :)

carrier door seals arnt tricky just follow the guide :)

Mine so bad I had to take carpet and soundproofing out to dry. I used the sealing cord and its been perfect.
 
i shall try that in the morning. if i need to do the doors ii think that link will serve me well. thanks!!
