Hi,

Well ive owned the car for a year now, shouldve really started a progress threa dbut been far too busy. After saving for a long while, i managed to get all the stage 2 requirements and finally remap it on Friday just gone. I went to AMD as they are local and heard some good readings from there. I didnt bother with stage 1 as i was told stage 2 you feel the difference more.

With all that aside, on Saturday it was on the dyno and made 277hp and 306ftlbs which i was very impressed with :) It wasnt until i got half way up the road and thought, i havnt uprated my DV spring! I just picked up a yellow one tonight from AMD and fitted it and the difference is more than noticeable, it seems to hold more to the red line :D so im really chuffed!

The following mods on mine are as follows:

TXAutosport FMIC
Demon TIP
Jetex airfilter
Silicone boost pipes
Forge 007p
N249 bypass
3 inch Relentless Downpipe with 120 cell race cat
Piper catback system
Powerflex dogbone mount

As for the exterior, the stock wheels were painted in a one off colour as seen in the photos. Other than the front badge painted black and the lower grilles being modified to show off the FMIC pipes, the car pretty much remains stock. O and almost forgot the addition of the smoked headlight covers :)

Looks good mate! Defo a car worthy of a reader's ride!

I've seen you kept your fog lights with the TX FMIC? I couldn't keep mine which is odd. Did you extend the lower hoses or angle them differently? If so, how?

Cheers

Cheers lads, Danny, thats certianly low lol!

Tom, the FMIC was installed by the previous owner so sadly i dont think i can help much, one of the pipes is fairly close to the fog, so id imagine theyve angled the steel pipe work differently.

where did you get your smoked headlight covers mate? they look ace!! pm me would you old boy thanks

Ok mate no worries. Cheers for the reply anyway.

Someone on here said the fogs can be kept with this kit, but when we fitted mine, it was near impossible to get them to go on with it.

I will look into it more.....

If ever AMD have got another SCN rolling road day, i can show you mine there mate. Might beable to see the differences.

DK organizes these mate, and there are usually 2. One in February and one in August.

We've had Feb one out of the way, but August is yet to be confirmed. Keep your eye on the South East meets section for a provisional date if it's to go ahead as expected..

Be good to see your car mate.
