Are performance air filters worth the extra money

Service time for the Leon and am considering wether to go for a performance filter or just the standard manufacturer one from seres. It's a 180bhp remapped 2.0 tdi, is a performance filter going to make any difference to it.

Shall I not bother swapping my stock air filter for a K&N panel then? *pondering*

nope made no difference on my cupra really just get a proper one if you buy one.

It was only serviced two weeks ago, so I don't need one anyway, just my mate got one for his golf and suggested it.
I'll spend the money on my Parrot kit instead...on my Parrot kit instead.:lol:

Although a k&n filter will never have to be changed again, just wash it out and re-oil it. Like the others have said, there will be no difference in noticable power.

But then, OEM filters are so cheap...
