I had a unipart one in my 1.4 Ibiza - I kicked the living bollocks out of it. It was fine.

i always use LUK clutches in customers cars and have never had one back yet. mostly get them because gsf sometimes send free biscuits with them

More than likely. With industry going the way it is, there are fewer and fewer manufacturers and more and more 'rebranders'. Just look at LCD TV's, even cheap ones can have Samsung panels in them.
