Auto locking on FR?

Recently got a Leon ehybrid FR (standard FR). Should the car be automatically locking itself when I walk away with the key? I thought it was a few days ago, but it definitely isn't now. Only thing I've done is added on to the SEAT Connect app and made a primary user. But I can't find any setting to switch it back on. Any ideas?

Nope you have to lock the car. FR has only Keyless start

Even if it had fully KESSY then it still wouldn't lock itself when you walk away.

@Rayzor96; If it’s like the current model VW Polo, then it you unlock the car with the key fob but don’t open the door, it’ll auto lock after a set number of seconds (not sure how many).

Is it possible the Leon does this and you happened to unlock your car but didn’t open the door, so it re-locked itself as you were walking away?

Many brands I've driven do same if you unlock but don't open a door. My Outlander certainly does

True. There is also VCDS stuff that people fiddle with to get the desired result above. Perhaps if it's doing that after a door is closed then the control unit has got corrupted or incorrectly programmed at the time of manufacture or fiddled with by someone else. Mind you not sure about the ability to program that with SFD.

The hybrid is particularly annoying for this if you unlock the car to unplug the charger(which in my case involves an extension out the window currently). Neatly wrap the cable back up and just as you go to open the boot to store the cable the bloody thing has locked itself
