You lot seem friendly so i thought I would say hello and pick your brains!
I have an Audi TT 225 with the BAM engine, cue the hairdresser jokes ha ha
Anyway I have replaced the turbo, downpipe, all boost hoses on top of engine including the main intake one, deleted the N249 and replaced the N75 with a manual boost controller. I still have an issue with boost, the car boosts initially to 9psi then it drops to 2 psi, iff you change gear quickly at full throttle you only get 2 psi. If you drive at half throttle it goes really well lol
Anyway I am starting to think it might be one of the intercoolers as it cannot be ecu related as it has no way of dumping boost now. The pipes underneath the intercoolers look ok and I have checked just about every vacuum/boost hose on it at least 10 times lol
I had it smoke tested but they couldn't get it to produce more than 10psi so not sure it opened up whatever was causing it. Does anyone have any ideas at all?
