Hi peeps,
Mk1 Leon owner from East Sussex.
Have been scanning this site for the last year or so and have found plenty of useful threads and guides but never got round to saying hello! And thanks for all the info!

The car is a 2003, grey(silver) auq cupra currently at about 110,000. Owned it myself for 18months and obv have been replacing parts left right n centre due to age, as expected. As far as I'm aware it was standard 180 when I got it (hopefully)

Bits I've done:
•sai removal and blank.. resistor fitted (vcds still throws up incorrect flow though?)
•n249 bypass, resistors not fitted yet
•crankcase breather and a few boostpipes
•oversized tip (80mm)
•80mm cone filter (175-100 172L)
(Using 70mm silicone hump joiners to reduce to n from maf until I get to uprating maf and fuel injectors etc.)
•split r dv... (slightly sore subject)
•fastroad drilled & slotted discs/ fast road pads
•hid single beam headlights (high and low beam. Working on fogs)

I have plenty of work to be done still though.. I'm currently in the midst of:
•finding the right clutch/flywheel/csc and ifc?.
•finding correct bushes all round to go with 40/30 sports kit I have my eye on.
•finding best suited exhaust set up.
•finding the right turbo outlet pipe with outlets for d/v etc to suit the fmic I'm sitting on.
•getting hid fogs to work which I may have sorted but waiting for part.

And I'm sure there will be a lot more puzzling me yet!
So hopefully I can find most of what I need on here, but I may well chime in for a few pointers before long as it can get a bit confusing from time to time.. all input and direction is muchly needed and appreciated.

So yeah, quality forum! really helpful and well run! Makes owning a cupra a sight easier and cheaper..
Cheers!

Welcome to the SCN, We love all Seats and love pictures (yes we are sad its called Cupra **** in my house).

Sounds like you have a good car that needs some TLC to get it back to full spec.

Look forward to hearing your story in readers rides and if you do do stuff please let people know how you did it to make it better for the next new joiner.

Good Luck and I know the car is great to drive so enjoy.
