Hi all, this will be my last post. I have just sold my beloved Cupra R. I have owned it for 2 years and it has been cared for like no other car, trust me I am a detailer! 10,500 miles only, candy white totally original and out of the box. If you are looking for a Cupra R in candy white don't bother looking else where as you won't find a better one. It was put on Ron Hodgson specialist cars on Tuesday.

Thanks for all your posts and help in the past.

Very nice Paul, if it was nearer would go take a look as quite fancy an R.

It's in wonderful condition!!! The pictures were put on the net before I had got home, I delivered it to him in showroom condition.

Wow, über shiny! ,

You'd need a serious hard-on to part with best part of £18k for a mk2 LCR

What trade in px did you get ? If you don't mind me asking

Unless speed rather than amount of money was the issue, I don't quite understand why you would cash in a minter (which traders don't really care about in their offer price) and get financially spanked by them with a book price and then come here to point out their marked up sale telling people the wont find a better one?

Surely been better to have advertised on here for a while for free by yourself and probably a better audience of potential buyers.

Just seems like you have not only sold this car short for your return, but now you are helping the trader to advertise and off-load it for primo dollar!!

True... I was also thinking "I wonder how much they gave for that...."

Must have been 14k or there abouts?

The car is totally original, the valance is standard and the only reason I posted this was to let people on here know there was a genuine Cupra for sale that I could vouch for. I have no interest in helping the dealer sell it, and I just hadn't got the time to wait for someone to make me an offer on here. It's sad to think that people think I posted this for any other reason than to point out that a straight immaculate Cupra was available and to try and help someone looking for one.
And I assure you you I got far more than 14k for it;) to be honest I got a fantastic price that reflected in the cars originality and condition.

Valance just looks a bit gloss black to me which isn't standard. I know because i had mine painted gloss black.

kudos for getting more than £14k

I feel for the fool who'll eventually pay north of £20k for that when the finance is settled, and be left with a car the same value as the rest once it starts racking the mileage up,

Didnt say your intentions were wrong mate, just a fact dealers dont pay as much as an enthusiast via a forum would, as such felt like you went about things a bit backwards. implying nothing sinister other than maybe you should have planned in advance to sell privately.
