My cars 3 days out of the warranty and the blower motor has stopped working. I can’t get any hot or cold air from the vents. I have taken the car back to the dealer and they are changing the blower motor but have told be its going to be £350!!!

They have put a good will request into Seat UK to see if they will pay some of the costs.

It’s really annoying that it’s just out of warranty. Has anyone else had a similar problem or managed to get any good will out of Seat Uk???

It is a known Seat problem on certain builds - it is the resistor burning out [ was on ours anyway] and was done under warranty. Any dealer worth their salt would carry our a good will gesture. But knowing how poor the x info between dealership / Seat appears to be who knows. Get the dealership to chase SEAT UK and good luck. ....................

Had a call from the dealership on Friday with some good news!

Seat UK have agreed to pay £220 as a good will gesture towards the work that needed doing to replace the blower. Had to say a big thank you to my local dealership and to Seat UK for this good will gesture.
