i got me lifters in the post last week from volk bits. so i fitted them at the weekend! they look great but dont work very well i dont think! i thought that when u lift the bonnet it would gradually go up nice and smoothly but mine goes flying up and almost takes ur head off then slows down!

has any1 else had this trouble? also i have noticed that the angle that the lifters sit at when the bonnet is open looks like it is bending the arms if the lifter! any1 else noticed this?

any1 got sum pics that i can see please!

mine lifts up the bonnet once u have lifted it about half way! the lifters just seem a bit flimsy! dont u think? the angle from the bonnet to the wing seems a bit harsh and looks like the lifter is bending!

in that pics mate have u got ur dv in reverse? does it make a difference?

they are pretty cheap an flimsy...loads have had problems, none myself though. mine wont lift the bonnet at all, u have to pull the bonnet up all the way

yeah dv is reversed, at first it was cos my old TIP was damaged and the dv fit better reversed, but now i just cant be bothered to put it back. no difference in performance, just makes a squeak when u back off

:lol:
@Tom
i have an apartment there mate just up the road from sunny beach in a small place called st vlas..the idea was id create a professional website and organise my own rentals etc but when i went last year expecting the finished article it was barely close to complete, hence a bland website which i just use to host pics lol
the apartment was finished last summer and has been empty ever since but is due for rental this summer through a sub letter
