Hi guys I have a seat Leon fr tdi 170 on a 56 plate. Car has done 70,000 miles I work at an ex seat dealer I service my car every 5000 miles just to look after my engine that's oil and fuel filter change. My dpf blocked up so I had it knocked out. I have had my car remapped by 2 company's the first one has tried 6 maps and can't find the problem ran diagnostic test and nothing and my Tech at work ran test with seat diagnostic machine and nothing to. Since the 1st map my car had a boost fault between 2000 - 3000 rpm at full boost foot flat to floor it holds and boost and holds and boost like a fuel cut on a petrol turbo car over boosting. So second map he dropped the boost and still the same then the third no boost and same again. I then replaced the boost sensor known as the n75 with the vac hoses on it and still no good. Air flow sensor still no good. 3 more maps later I gave up with them thinking it was the mapper. I then was told it can be the tandem pump so I then replaced that and still the same. Now thinking it can be the map in then took it to a well known tuner I explained to him the situation I had. He took it out first and said could be the map so when we got back to the workshop he downloaded the mAp and looked at it and said it was all over the place. He then done there map on it and took it out again and same thing. He said it could be injectors and I thought it could be the injector recall they had back in the days but he said could be where the first tuner mapped it incorrect it could have caused the injectors to open too long and kill the injector. Wasn't sure about this. When I got back to work I got the warranty people to run a check to see if injectors was done and they was replaced under warranty with the ecu update. The second tuner has done a egr delete to so I have plated off both ends for egr so that's exhaust manifold end and egr by intake end.
Any ideas ?
So that's egr delete dpf delete remap egr blocked off n75 replaced airflow replaced fuel filter replaced tandem pump replaced. Through all the gears hot and cold at 2000 - 3000 rpm foot too floor full boost it will hesitate if I slow throttle it's ok or full boost after 3000 rpm it's fine
