brake piston size

Hi all
In fee weeks time I want to upgrade my brakes (288mm) to 312mm. While i am on it i want to rebuild my calipers and likr i did in my last car 330 bmw i want to use stainless steel pistons. My mate can make them for me but i need size of them first to get material for him. Does any one have the measurements of it or maybe one old piston I could have ?

I can't help with your question, but may I ask what benefit stainless steel has over the standard chrome coated metal?

It will never rust. Stainless steel can withstand a very harsh chemicals.
