Unbelievable as it sounds. I have searched the forums forever and a day and cannot find specifics - IT SEEMS THAT A PERIOD PASSED WHEN LCR'S WERE FITTED WITH 323 DISCS (28 WIDTH) ALTHOUGH EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK ITS 312s THAT COMPANIES ARE SELLING. IT SEEMS THAT THE 323s WERE STOPPED AND 312s USED INSTEAD. CONFIRMATION PLEASE??

I ORDERED A BRAKE SET FROM CAR PARTS DIRECT AND MADE IT CLEAR THAT IT WAS A LEON, YES, A CUPRA, YES, AN R, YES, 2003, YES AND RELIED ON THEM TO SORT ME WITH THE RIGHT DISC. OUT COMES A 312 WHICH MY FRIENDLY MECHANIC SAYS NO WAY JOSE, THEY ARE NOW BLAMING THE INCIDENT ON ME AS I DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT DIMENSIONS OF DISC. IT NOW SEEMS THEY CANNOT FIX ME UP WITH THE RIGHT SIZE AND I'M LOOKING AT AN EXTRA TON FOR SPECIFICALLY MADE DISCS.

UNBELIEVABLE, CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM THAT THE 323 DISCS ARE 28 WIDTH, 55 CENTRE HOLE,AND ?? HEIGHT??!!!!

328mm discs

EU spec (and mexican spec) LCR's all came with 312's as std - with 328 Brembo's as an expensive upgrade

All UK spec LCR's have 328 Brembo's

Go to the dealer and get dimensions. Or go to a SEAT specialist and order from them. 312" are for Cupra's not the R... Cupra R's have Brembo's that require specific discs.

Hi Spec do discs and I am sure Badger5 can get you them.

im pretty sure also that there are not that many (if any?) aftermarket discs available for the LCR, hence why people always have trouble finding them through motor factors

323mm x 28mm discs mork;)

Yes many companies sell off LC 312mm discs as LCR discs. I think they do actually fit aswell so beware.

Ive seen 3 companies so far advertising LCR discs, but in fact they are the 312 disc[:@]

I just got mine off bill in the end, he does a nice grooved design:)

Can remember exact price off top of my head but around £130 per disc

They do look good though, you can just make them out in my avatar pic

Return said brakes to your supplier telling them they have supplied the wrong ones. If you didn't specify which brakes and instead only supplied make and model, it's their fault not yours.

what a hassle it is, and seems to have been for so many. anyway i'm straight on the phone tomorrow to demand money back and forget the whole thing although the way they are playing it is that i requested 312mm discs whereas what i actually done was request discs for a 2003 LCR..........! strike a light!! or even as my man steve irwin once said, CRIKEY!

thanks for the response;) lads................
