hi could anybody tell me if a facelift front bumper will fit on a pre facelift straight swap

You'd also need new headlights and a new front grill but other then that, it should be.

Simple answer is no.

i've never been too convinced about this.
i bought a facelift FR last year and wanted the aero kit fitting.
this was supplied and fitted apart from the grill, which i already knew from doing my home work on here.

so the aero kit fits the facelift car, correctly round the facelift headlights, and the pre-fl cupra grill was fitted to mate everythign up togehter.

what actually changed on the headlights/wings/bonnet?? who can confirm they are different shape to facelift?

There are 2 part numbers for the front aero bumpers, one for the facelift and the other for the pre. They both use the prefaclift grill or non FR / Cupra facelift grill. I believe the Facelift grilld are only differant on the FR & Cupra (smaller in height). My understanding is the lights are a differant shape on the bottom outer edge so this only efects the bumper.

IIRC you don't need new wings or new bonnet, but then again someone could check part numbers.
