Had a day of bargaining with Frosts down in Portslade, Brighton.

Enquired about ex-demo Leon 2.0TDI Sport and they came back with a 4000 miler at £14695? I said not bad but then had a bit of haggling during the day....

This is the eventual last email from them:

The 18's are the similar to the new RS4's (think someone had a pic around here somewhere) - SWEET! Retail at £300 each! They should sit OK on standard suspension... yeh??????

Its a Parrot one... thought it best to go universal as I change phones like underwear!.... fitted for £120 so I thought that was a good deal!

The eighteens are great looking on your car! Are you thinking about lowering in the future?

Quite tempted by some form of brembo brake upgrade - to suit the 18s... does anyone know if they supply kits for the new Leon?

Went for common as muck Black magic... to be honest I love it and although it will be a common colour I dont think the Leon will take off as much as other cars? But thats my opinion.

SPOT ON!!! Looks great and even the ride height is good.

I was kind of worried that it would look a bit 4x4ish!

Can't wait to pick it up (2nd May) now!!! So excited as it is really my 1st new proper car! Started with a 1.0 106 Key Largo 4 years ago when I started and then graduated to a Golf MK4 1.4S two years ago and now this!!!!
