As im sure any LCR owner will know the recaro seats are a pig to keep clean, they seem attract stains and dust like nothing I've ever seem.

I was wondering whether anyone had any proven methods / products for keeping them looking spic and span.

Many thanks in advance for any responses.

I recommend Stardrops APC (88p for a dilutable 1 litre) at 1:10 mix with water. Spray it on and brush with a stiff brush to bring the dirt to the surface.

Ideally wetvac afterwards, but you could just wipe it with a damp cloth.

I just cleaned mine with AutoGlym Interior Shampoo and it has done a fantastic job, I highly recommend, the seats and mats look like new.

I got hair clay over my drivers seat bolster after rushing to tart myself up :gay: and not washing it off of my hands. I tried a few simple methods to remove it but nothing would shift it so wet the area with a damp cloth, sprayed the AG on and left for a minute and wiped off with a damp cotton cloth. I was so impressed with the results that I did the rest of the interior and it's spotless. You'll be shocked at how much dirt was in your seats, mine looked clean yes the rinsing water was turning a dirty brown quite quickly.

Available at Halfords for £5.49.
