Over the winter the car has developed a click noise that sounds like a piece of metal clicking when I push the clutch down.
This only happens when the car is cold, and only occurs when the pedal is pushed down (half way travel), not when released. It couldn't be the master cylinder could it? My guess is its not that serious, as it goes away when the car is warmed up and the clutch has been used throughout a journey of 5 or more minutes.
Your advice is needed, cheers.
