Gents,

In preparation for my Revo 3 upgrade, Revo themselves recommended a clutch upgrade, they said at 450bhp the stock unit will last around 500 miles!

Having spoken to a few tuning companies now, they often quote the SACHS competition clutch. I have also read some comments on the web that these units are very stiff and either bites or it doesn't making it very awkward to drive the car unless your thrashing it.

Can anyone advise on the best manufacturer to use?

Which model for road/street use?

Where to get the best price?

Likely installation time and cost? (I may source the unit myself and just pay a garage to install it if saves some cash)

Thanks Chaps

WeeG has the sort of kit you are going to need! Its a paddle clutch which can be very grabby!

Is this your daily car or a weekend car (im guessing weekend), As a daily car a Paddle kit would be awful

Good Morning,

I would recommend either a sachs item or the Helix one.

We run the helix item in both our track car and road cars both with solid fly wheels. Only downside is there do rattle a little when they are on tick over, joys of a solid fly wheel I`m afraid.

I have the helix stage 3 paddle clutch. As Andrew said if your cars a daily driver i wouldn't say it's going to be comfortable. The pedal is extremely heavy and very grabby. But getting the power down with it is very good :) £1300 for clutch. £300 fitting
