hi race marshal here, i have a 2022 cupra leon went to change the rear brake pads today but was unable to due to needing a code to release the electronic hand brake does any one know any thing concerning this problem .

Sorry don't know what tool was being used as my son was doing the work l do know that where he works as a mechanic he had plugged in there snap on computer but was unable to read kept coming up asking for a code this the first time he has come up with this and his employer doesn't subscribe to the vag website

You need security access through VWG to alter the settings of certain control modules. The brake pad change falls under that category.
