coilovers.....anyone fancy a looky?

got my coilovers last week

got them on and adjusted to the height i shall be running, just need to pull my finger out and get my other set of wheels powdercoated and then im ready to start on the interor

lowest one i have seen.....i dont know of any other mk5 which isnt a cupra or boc running coilovers....

standard rims on at the moment, going to trial fit one of my other wheels when i come back off holiday and see how if it will work....if it wont, then i will be refurbing these ones white....

are you wound down all the way or could you go lower with arch work/smaller wheels

stanced out mate....be giving away secrets if i told you all that na just playing

rears has the spring cup in place but no adjuster, and fronts are 17mm of thread left to go. might wind it down that extra 2mm soon....but i think its pretty much perfect, and i keep getting comments about how good it looks and eveyrone i ask also thinks the height is level by eye so i am happy took about 2.5hours in total to fit and get it set up height wise.

That stance is awesome bud.
I was just thinking of a 35mm drop on lowering springs, can't justify spending coilover prices at the moment!
I'm jealous!!!!!

its definitely more than a 35mm drop lol i wanted to just get springs, but the fannying about with getting the right springs i.e low enough ones was more hassle than the way i know. coilovers All Day Long!

Same coil overs as me but ive left the adjuster in the back at it lowest and adjusted the front to suit. Looks very nice mate, good work.

Great coil overs aint they, really impressed ith mine.

Both of yours are a lot lower at the back than mine. I often have people in the back and CBA with being scared of speed bumps. Looks good though!

I have the eibach's very very impressed with them. There are photo's on here but they aren't great. I need to get some better ones. I'm going to Awesome tomorrow for a rolling road so will get some then.

The OP's car looks too low at the rear IMO. Techie's looks spot on, any lower and it's too low.
