coming home lights and chirping alarm???

hi all . I have had my tfsi fr for two weeks now and was told by the dealer that it has coming home function?

Can anyone tell me exactly what this is?

Also i have been playing with the settings in the car and for some reason i cant seem to make the chirp work when locking/unlocking the car. It says on but makes no difference this is the same for the doors unlocking just the drivers door. I cant get it to unlock all doors.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Coming home is where you leave the lights on, lock the car and they stay on for 15-20 secs (adjustable via MFD)

The alarm chirp needs to be enabled via Vag Com, you can also have the leaving home enabled via Vag Com too (unlock car and lights come on if you've left them on previously)

so you cant change this on the mfd?

Whats the point of having the menu with the option if you cant change anything on it?

Seems a bit pointless!

For the coming home lights try flashing the lights with the main beam stalk after you remove the key and they should stay on for the time set.
With doors unlocking mine has always unlocked all doors so I will go and try it the other way in a min.
