hello everyone!

I'm new on this forum and I really need your help.

I've got problem with confort control module (CCM) in my Seat Leon SE 1.9 TDI (110) ASV engine, 2001. Symptoms are: no interior lights, no interior backlights, no electric windows and mirrors, no lights in boot. I've scanned my car with Vag-Com using AutoScan. I've got such results (ABS and Air Bag checks skipped):

VAG-COM
Windows Based VAG/VAS Emulator

I've already removed CCM (part number is: 1C0 959 799 F) and inspected it visually. No water traces and any damage signs inside. As you can see AutoScan skipped 46 address. Also I'm getting error like CCM controller not found when I'm trying to scan it manually. Looks like CCM doesn't exists on my car anymore.. Any ideas where can I start?

Cheers
Dan

Did you check the fuse for the CCM? Does it have power? If it does, then it's possible the module has failed. It is also possible that the K-Lines going to it are messed up and the tool cannot communicate with it.

One other possibility, and this based on your Excessive Comm Errors on the HVAC, is that your wire is not able to communicate with the modules. You might want to mess with the baud rate settings on the Options screen to see if you can get more reliable communications. A lot of the aftermarket wires scrimp on the hardware and do not have the ability to match the communications rate of all the modules.

Hi,

thanks for your quick response.

Yeah I checked fuse 14th and three fuses below dashboard. All they are OK. If K-Lines are messed up the working CCM will work anyway?

yeah, I've got aftermarket cable.. Possible that's the problem with communication.

Another thing I've noticed. Sometimes when I'm locking car with key then red LED starts flashing, but after unlock it still flashes. It goes off after few locks/unlocks. Is CCM responsible for this LED?

Hi,

i've got another ccm and replaced my original. Everything is working fine except flashing led on driver door. Led is still flashing when car is unlocked. Also when i'm turning ignition on all turnlights starts flashing like alarm was activated.. but i don't have alarm in my car. How can i fix that? Is it possible to recode ccm to stop doing this?

I replaced my ccm with the same part number 1c0 959 799 f. When I scanned with vag com i've got one error: Alarm Horn not found.
CCM software code: 00258, workshop code: 00028
