Considering a new SeatCupra

Hi All

Obviously new to this forum and looking at possibly buying at new SeatCupra.

Interested in both the Seat Leon Cupra R ST and the Cupra Ateca.

Test drove the Cupra R ST without the ABT upgrade and really liked it, but couldn't get the right deal (suspected as much but wanted a test drive).

My last two cars have been 4x4's (Yeti & Disco sport) but had an Octavia vRS before them and am looking for something that is a good mix of all 3.

It's a shame that the Ateca isn't available with the warranted ABT upgrade.

Lastly, do all pano roofs make a noise?

Yes the roofs rattle so avoid.
As for a Leon Cupra you'll wait months and I mean months.
It's a big issue with them at present.

Thanks for confirmation on the Pano roof - means less outlay and if there's a long wait, it might force me to go for a demo or pre-registered if I decide it's a Leon I want

I would tbh.
People are waiting far too long at present and are getting total lies from Seat as to where their cars are.

I've got an FR due to the wait times.
I'd love a Cupra, or thought I would, but the FR has amazed me and took less than 2 weeks from buying to driving away.
Cupra drivers are being told their car have no build date yet even though some ordered months ago.
There's a thread about it on here somewhere.
Some are cancelling theirs all together and I don't blame them.
I'd try pre registered as you'll get a decent deal although maybe not the colour you really wanted.

I ordered a cupra. Really don't care about the wait time since I was planning on keeping my current Leon FR SC for another year. Only reason i placed the order now was because of the great deal i was offered. That and my brother bought an M140i a couple weeks ago and i can no longer out run him.

Is it a Copper badged 290 or 290LUX? What colour?
