Hi guys, interested in your verdict. I have a seat leon 2015 2.0l diesel 150bhp have a coolant problem. Was loosing aliitle coolant at first. I.e would go from max to min in a week. I would then top it up.
Then it started it going to nearly empty in bottle. But as soon as I realised the pressure it would come back this would happen every day or every couple days. Even from stone cold it has loads of pressure still going from nothing in bottle to max in bottle from stone cold as i open the cap. I presume still loosing some as I am topping up still but now as I say has alot of pressure.
At this point I thought there's got to be air getting into the system and there can't be many places this is coming from, I have replaced the waterpump as it was due and flow coming out hose was very slow until I put revs on then would flow nice and replaced the egr cooler and coolant tank cap and still same. Before I go with dreaded head gasket Is there anything else I should look at. I thought about the charge cooler but have pressure tested that and looked to be ok. When I removed it there is coolant in the intake so would you say head gasket maybe?
Also heaters work fine not wet in footwells and it doesn't seem to be overheating (according to dash)
