Couple of questions

was nosing around engine bay tonight and i know nothing about engines lol found this jast hanging around the back of the engine:-

it has the following written on it:-

028 906 283 F APG

15/01 01T099

7.21895.00 12V


any ideas if its ok like it is? (in the pic i have it resting by the wipers)

2nd question saw this near the above and noticed 2 empty pipe connectors should it have pipes attached??

Its an N112 valve, which is part of the N249 system, its probably there as most people who do the by pass bolt the valves to the back of the rocker cover and they in turn melt and fall on to the turbo.

Do a search fo N249 you'll find all the info you'll ever need.

I've seen that car before...

yea as Phil said N112 valve mine fell onto my manifold other day just extented the wires and put it in teh scuttle pannel out of the way saves in falling on there again.

yea think the old owner used to be on here seen it for sale awhile back has 18" wheel and brembos if i remember rightly

that looks like the n249 valve, nothing to worry about, its there as its been bypassed, but i'd find a better way of securing it down, as will also fall off and melt, just like your n112 valve has!!

good good, cos mine broke off to like yours and melted! pain in the backside!
