Cross threaded fuel pump connector

Changed the fuel pump cam follower and when required attaching the fuel line the brass pipe that screws into the fuel pump became cross threaded so if you turn the ignition to just before starting fuel is peeing out of the connector

How easy is it to get a replacement brass pipe for the bottom of the fuel pump?

Looking it up its the fuel return valve thread that is damaged. Can an RS4 return valve work if i cant get hold of a stock pressure one?

Pump is just stock with no upgraded internals.

Yeah that's the piece that cross threaded. Will need before the next follower change that's for sure. Amazingly the garage it went to today managed to retap the original one and reattach the fuel line but it will need a new one next change for sure. Only just got the car back just now.

It was the brass pipe that comes out of the bottom of the fuel pump the the hard fuel line goes into.
