Cupra Terramar TPMS info not showing

Hello, I'm a new member here, I just got my Terramar last week, I've been playing around with the digital cockpit and the infotainment screens but haven't been able to see the actual pressure from the tire pressure monitoring system, It just lets me do a "calibration" set up, but I can't see the current pressure on each tire on any screen, is that the same for everyone or am I missing something?, Does anyone know any workaround for this?, I really like to be able to see the current pressure every time I start the car.
Every other car I've owned has had the option to show that info right on the digital cockpit just 1 or 2 button presses away.

I'd appreciate any help on this.

All recent SEAT & Cupra models use the simpler TPMS setup, which doesn't have an exclusive pressure sensor on each tire. In this setup, the speed information already gathered by the ABS sensors on each wheel is used to calculate if there's a possibility of pressure difference than the levels set last time you tap the "calibrate" button. By the way, calibration is a process where ABS control unit starts collecting the speed information at different speeds for a specified amount of time & saves them. Then that saved data is continuously compared to the actual speed information coming from the speed sensors. When a predefined threshold of difference either way is detected, the system throws a fault.

Edit for additional info: The system depends on the fact that a tire's circumference decreases when it loses pressure / increases when it gains pressure; and a tire with a smaller circumference for example should rotate faster to catch up with the others.

Oh, I didn't know that, thank you both for the reply and info, I've owned cheaper cars with active tpms so I didn't even consider that the cupra could have a passive one. So I guess my only option would be to install an aftermarket active tpms, I was hoping there would be a way to read that info on the original cluster display.

For some SEAT models, it was possible to retrofit the original TPMS control unit and pressure sensors used in other brands & models of VAG group. Those parts, some new wiring and some coding are involved in this retrofit. Then it shows up on the instrument cluster & infotainment screen. I'm not sure this is still valid for newer generation models like the Terramar. @East Yorkshire Retrofits might be able to answer this one for you, I believe.

That would be awesome, if it's actually possible I'm definitively gonna be trying to get it done on my car.

Thats great news!, would you mind sharing a bit more info on what I would need to do or get to be able to have this done on my car?.
I would really appreciate any help I can get.

This might be a good starting point, just to have an idea about it.

Wow, that's actually the whole guide and parts needed for the upgrade, thank you very much for that, I'll be asking the dealer first if they can do that before attempting to do it myself, but that is an awesome starting point.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help!!.

The dealer couldn’t do it if they wanted to
