Jumped in my cupra this afternoon after work and won't even turn over. Unlocked fine with the remote radio comes on when I put the key in the ignition the trip computer display comes on even the headlights come on fine. Car doesn't even attempt to turn over no clicking or anything. Anyone have any ideas as I'm currently waiting for the AA and they are gonna be 90mins at least.
Any help appreciated.

To the right of the steering wheel just blow the light switch is a piece of trim cover that just pulls off. Behind this are two relay carriers, an upper one and a lower one. On the upper one you should see a relay on the very far right (in position #5 of the carrier). This relay will have either 373 or 53 printed on it and it is for the starter motor solenoid. If it's faulty or not working then you will get nothing from the starter motor when you turn the key, not even a click.

In the first instance I would suspect that relay. Maybe just try re-seating it first by taking it out and putting it back in.

Does everything in your instrument cluster appear to be working OK?

Thanks for the help. I've tried resetting them and no look. Guessing it's probably gone if that's the problem. Any ideas of cost fora new one?

Ok thanks. Would it be the relay even tho no lights come on at all on the dash but the trip computer does?

Check fuse #2 (a red 10 amp fuse) in the fuse box on the end of the dashboard. This is the fuse for that starter motor relay and also for some of the instrument cluster.

Location of the fuse box just in case you don't already know...

And the fuse position layout on a RHD car...
