I KNOW THIS IS OFF TOPIC, BUT DOES ANYONE KNOW AN APP VERSION TO DOWNLOAD TO get the seat forum on android phone. I have one called tapatalk, and forum seems to be on there, but when it ask me to log in it nevers works?

I use tapatalk working perfectly.

I don't think that brown stuff is anything to worry about - it will be either some wax overspray that has ended up on that plastic boot, or it is a form of vulcanising that has been applied to that boot which with time and heat is drying out.

Edit:- normally a Sulphur based substance is used for vulcanising rubbers or synthetic rubbers.

I'm sorry to say that I've tried that on my iPhone and either due to my stupidity or something else, I have also failed to see how brilliant an app that is for viewing these forums!

I am currently looking at mine and mine has that on it also. more on the drivers side. what i have done is done a video on youtube, as i thought be better for you than picture. Also to kill two birds with one stone i also look over the tranmission. would u be able to message on youtube to tell me where i can find the drain, filler and check bolts / points on the transmission.

So hopefully helps us both out and others can use it to help.

I actually was finding the German version. I actually found now and on it replying to u now. U may want to give a try. Download an app called Tapatalk and then on that app search for SeatCupra.net and then use ur same log in details as would a.laptop. they are on good for being able to help in the go BUT MAIN reason for me is you can.upload pictures direct from your phone. Where as before I was having to upload to flickr and copy and paste the link. So annoying lol

In my case, it was just brakefluid that had dripped during my last service as the cylinder is right above the driveshaft. Might as well be that easy sometimes..
