Wondered if anyone had a write up or there was a post for DIY servicing, in particular Mk2 Alhambra TDI.
I know there's the manual and guides & check lists online.
Our local mechanic has retired and was keen to do a service myself. My brother in law let his Mk2 Fabia sit for months after MOT ran out and was running rough. I followed a YouTube and gave it a service of oil change and all filters, plugs and an inhibition coil, albeit it’s a 1.2 petrol and was fairly simple, the Alhambra may be a different kettle of fish.
It's maybe more general than model specific so apologies if this should be in a different forum area.
The Alhambra is 11 years old so I’ve no interest in dealer servicing and to be fair if I was buying a used car and someone told me they serviced it themselves (with receipts), I probably wouldn’t look at it much differently than a mechanic doing it (no disrespect!). Maybe quite common now.
