Can anyone recomend a 'universal' dog guard for the leon, don't fancy paying the price for Seat one.

very true. Best places to try then for quick turn-around would be the likes of halfords and any car motor factors - just see if they do a universal one...

Theres one listed for the toledo, but dont understand as i thought the toledo was a saloon and hence didnt have a hatchback.... £38 free delivery... supposedly fast....?

Bought a halfords one today(tubular, not mesh), doesn't look as sturdy as the SEAT one, but at less than half the price what do you expect eh!

Will fit it tomorrow and see what like.

Thanks for the replies

TBH I don't bother with one. The gap between the rear seat and the roof is not that great especially with the rear headrests. My four-legged friend hasn't joined me yet anyway.

I dont use one.

I got a Boxer and he never tryed to get over seat i dont think he can to be honest.

If its a bigish dog you got just pull headrests up a bit. My dog does slobber the rear seat a bit from sticking his slabbery coupon over but i got scotch gaurd on seats so just wipes off.

The leon has a nice deep boot so its just his head i can see, i know and he knows that his fat a$re cant squeeze through the gap.
