Door card query

Im looking for some new door cards for my car... but i want the plain black ones without any fancy insert or gti insert or anything... but i need them with no hole for the window winder... ie: with electric windows.

Do they exist? and if so what kind of model will they be on.

Is it a case of poverty spce models had no inserts but then had electric windows and vice versa for
ibizathe gti models?

I dont think you'll be able to find one without the hole for the window. The plain door cards were for the lower spec cars ie no elecric windows.

i have ones with no hole from a car at the scrappy cant remember the spec tho. they def do exist tho.

Couldn't you dye your existing inserts?

i dont have any door cards at the minute ^^^

finding ibizas in scrapyeards are impossible anyway so finding many and looking at all the door cards may be an issue... thanks for letting me know they exist tho... i reckon ill try and find some and if not ill just get a blanking piece made up for the window hole

Sorry to burst the bubble but my stupidity i never read you post correctly, mnes have a black cloth insert with no window winder hole, just paint the insert with hammerite spray works a treat.

I have some GTi 16v door cards sitting here if you get stuck for some.

yes it is, but a tried normal spray and it turned out all hard and rough, where hammerite spray took out a better finish
