DRL not working

Welcome to SCN, think it means a new unit, but post/search in the Leon threads in the SEAT car forums for more info.I've a 2016 Leon FR, the DRL led has gone out on just the nearside light, does this mean a complete replacement headlight or is there a way around it
If the DRLs were off, would it still give you a warning?Lateral thinking, I like it. Just need to switch off the light on the dash
I have no idea, new to this motor electrics thing, soon find out. I'll let you know, cheers bud.
@NigelF - be aware that forward facing DRL’s became a legal requirement on new models of cars introduced from 2011. I think the mk3 Leon was launched in 2012 so would be subject to the legal requirement.
Strangely, it seems that for MOT purposes that DRL’s only need to be inspected if fitted as original equipment to vehicles first used on or after 01/03/2018.

I have mine off, and turn em on via infotainment before MOTs. Might not bother any more then.
