eHybrid Electric Range

I was wondering what kind of electric-only mileage other people get from their eHybrids.

I am getting about 40km (25mi) in warm weather, but only about 30km (19mi) in cold days (about 10 degrees celsius).

Are these values normal/reasonable?

I think it depends what kind of driving you‘re doing too.

Lots of town driving and B road driving with lots of slowing for bends allows regeneration where anything cruising over 40/50mph just empties the battery with no chance to put any back in.

Wind resistance is very much your enemy and in higher speed trips I just use Hybrid mode. I’d say I’m getting 25 miles to a charge now in the cold weather and nearer the low 30s in Summer, but that’s just looking at the length of a trip and the percentage of battery used and extrapolating up to how far 100% would take me.

Last summer I had 52km range. When it got colder the range became 41km. The car is from June 2022.

I have only had the car a few weeks now, but 25 to 27 miles seems right. We can do two school runs in e-mode, that's about 12 miles round trip each.

I think hybrid mode is the way to go, unless there is a real petrol shortage!

Hello also from me. new Leon 245Hp in Greece, good weather. With this weather in hybrid driving, without heating or A/C I get only about 45km. I havent tried the full electric driving to check the complete range. The model of car construction is 2021.
I expected 10km more, I feel disappointed.

45km in hybrid mode? Hybrid is using both petrol and electric motors. You mean the other way around surely?

If you're getting 45Km in electric mode that's quite good, hardly anybody will achieve the full WLTP distance as real life car use (still) don't match the WLTP test.

Hello. No I am talking about hybrid driving. Maybe it is not 45, maybe it is 50 km (of course it is in the city so, a lot of driving is electric when stopping many times). The theoritic km range for full electric driving, when battery is full is shown 44km, but I still have not tried to drive only electric for complete battery range. I dont know if it could reach 40km with good conditions and without heating or A/C.
The theoritical range (NEDC): according to brochure is 68 Km / 42 miles or lets say 65km. From 65km to 40km is big or huge difference. If the real conditions for summer would be around 55km range, then ok, I would understand, but 65 to 40 km is big difference.
First I want to understand if the same is for all Cupra Loen like my car, or maybe my battery is defective. I bought my car 2 months ago, but the car was waiting in the Cupra store for almost 1,5 year. I dont know if the battery can maintain in good condition if the car is not moved for many months.

I'm still not sure what you mean, battery use in hybrid mode is dependant on how much city driving (a lot of battery), open road driving (some battery) and motorway driving (very little battery) you do?

What information from Cupra are you quoting for 55Km? I don't think Cupra say how long the battery will last in hybrid mode, only electric mode.

hmmm actually you are right. I have to test the complete battery range when driving only in electric mode and then come back with definite numbers. Thank you all. BR
