Surely you would fit a new clutch and flywheel if they have never been changed before I'm not sure on the gearbox fitments

This is the seller discription of the gear box :
YOU ARE BUYING A 2002 SEAT LEON 1.8 20V TURBO 6 SPEED MANUAL GEARBOX WITH A VW/AUDI GEARBOX CODE OF ERR.THE GEARBOX IS FROM A MODEL THAT HAS DONE 58,000 MILES WITH ENGINE CODE AUQ AND IT WILL ALSO FIT THE VOLKSWAGEN GOLF MK4,VOLKSWAGEN BORA, AUDI A3 AND TT MODELS.( OUR REF 1)

is that enough to judge that i would fit because he mentioned same my engine code " AUQ " ?

Please see this :

It'll fit no problem :)

They're both 02M 6-speed gearboxes, slight difference in the final drive ratios but that's it.

Both flywheels and clutches are 240mm so it'll match up. Although if the gearbox is off you might as well freshen up the clutch ;)

i think there are two kinds of flywheels, single mass and dual mass flywheel and i think there are different in the weight. dual mass is weight 14 lb but the other one i don't know how much weight. as my little experienced in playing with the mass of flywheel may change the character of the acceleration and the top speed because i tried SPECE single mass flywheel (12 lb). it gives slight rather acceleration from the zero. but i faced rattle noise problem specially when i turned on the A/C. From the last, it dose not worth. and i afread to face the same problem if i fit ERR With my stock dual mass fly wheel:confused::confused:
