Esc sport mode

Has anyone tried this function af activating esc sport mode which i think is traction control

Yepp i have tried it.
I think it just disables the traction control.
Last time i did it i left black trailmarks from the lights..

How can I disable the traction control in my car?

I use it to make sure my car doesnt control the torque, you need to be a bit more careful on the throttle though.

As they mention, it only disables TC.

I tried that on a track and when I was about to skid all 4 wheels (I entered waaaay to fast on a corner ) the car corrected itself and I could see the icon on de dash blink as the car applied breaks.


Our leons have 3 systems:

- TCS
- ESP
- XDS

The only one you can disable is TCS.

I also found that if you hold down the ESC button it turns it off. (Whereas Pressing button just selects ESC Sport mode)

In the Cupra it turns it off completely, not sure about FR.

Fr only turns off traction control not stability. Pointless having an "off" function when it doesn't turn everything off!

Little coding with vcds and you will have 3 options to select
Activated
ESC sport
ESC off
