i have a mk3 ibiza, and wen i finish drving there is a funny noise cumming from the engine, sounds like a fan but i opened the bonnet and the fan isnt on, anyone esle get this noise or i got a problem?

i think it's either the oil pump or water pump still pumping air/water round the engine. A vag way to try a preserve the life of your turbo

But if i'm wrong please correct me

na thats wot my old man said, thanks mate along as it aint gna blow up lol

they all do it mate, its the coolent pump which will run until the engine reaches a low enough temperature but no longer than 20mins i believe as the ECU doesnt want to drain the battery
