Fitted eBay short shift but no reverse helppp

Tried fitting a eBay short shift today incar not the gearbox one and think I've fitted it all correct I fitted it all up with the screw in plastic guide with the modified bracket held in by two torx screws but cannot get reverse gear I have put the pin in the hole too just really stuck now with car in bits any help please

Its a pull up revere... What gear knob did you buy to go with it? Pull up version I hope?

Yeh it all come as a kit just can't get reverse

have you assembled it properly? in the wee plate with the 2 bolts did you put the plastic buffer in? mine needed a bit of bending before i could get reverse just tinker and its not very short throw is it lol! just th stick itself is shorter =[

Finally sorted it bit of tweeks and she's all ok thanks guys

£30 of fleabay and relatively simple job feels a lot shorter can't moan for money

That's very good. May have to look into that then. Forge are like 80pounds. It feel strong enough tho yeah? Don't want one to snap on me lol
